So, here is my precious little man (3 weeks old). At one point of my day today, I had this thought....."my life is catergorized by 'poop' right now. I clean, see, smell, touch, and sometimes even wear it way too many times each day." This is my life as a mom of four kids under the age of 5. And yet, I still love this job and don't get paid a penny? Amazing. And what is even more amazing is that I truely believe that I am richly blessed. One day I am sure I will wish for these "poop" days when I am helping my kids walk through much tougher teenage issues. So, thanks God for my messy little bundles of joy ;)Tuesday, March 30, 2010
"POOP" days

Visitors

Thanks to all of you great friends and family who visited and helped us out during our first weeks. We couldn't have done it without you. There are some of you that we did not get pictures of...(Chris Laury, Howards, Laurys, Aimee, Sarah R., Rudds, all of you who made us meals and cleaned for us). THANKS!!!!!!! You are all the best and we have been extremely blessed to have you all in our lives.
Big Brother & Sisters

So, you ask how did the kids do with the baby? Fabulous! I could not ask for a better transition with them accepting Jonathan. The girls are just overly loving and at times "a little much" for the baby. They love to hold him and kiss him. Genevieve esp. loves to run up to him at random times during the day and say "hi"...it is pretty funny :) Giuliana is a little mommy. Dawson at first seemed a little reluctant. I think he was expecting a little brother that would come home that would run around and play ball with him. I told him that that will happen in a little while. But now he is growing more used to the "baby" idea of Jonathan. He can't wait for him to move into his room with him.

Baby Jonathan

We welcomed the arrival of our new son, Jonathan David Carter on March 4th weighing 9lbs. 6oz. 20inches. He is doing fabulous and mom is still recovering. The three big siblings are in love with him and can't wait for him to grow up and play with him.
God has blessed our family more that we can imagine. Please continue to pray for us as we transition into this new phase and pray for me as I still need to fully recover from my c-section. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and support for our family during this time.

My Precious Babies!!!

So, here are my babies!!!! I will miss them soooo much over the next couple of days as we welcome our new baby into this world. They are not allowed in the hospital due to the whole H1N1 thingie going around.....it stinks :( But they understand and are excited to see their new brother when he comes home.I had a very precious night with them. Dave asked them all to pray over their mommy before I go into the hospital tomorrow. Giules was so sweet as she prayed for my protection and that I would not be hurt and the baby would be healthy and big :) And then Dawson prayed for his mommy and the new baby and that "no bad guys would ouch the baby." I love their sweet innocent hearts....precious!
So, tomorrow is the day. I will keep you all posted as our son arrives!!!
