My little "Chase Utley"
My little "chase utley".....and then Dawson says, "mommy, me no utley, me just a baseball player" ....He is incredible. I hate to brag, but he definitely has something different. He loves anything athletic but has naturally been good at them since very very tiny. He couldn't talk forever but said one first word for a long time and that was "BALL" :) He hits great and hard....I flinch everytime after I pitch to him. I normally get hit in the head, chest or hand....and he just giggles and says "sorry mommy" We shall see if anything comes of his love for sports....but more than anything I want a love for God to be the biggest in his life. That may sound soooo cheesy but when I see him love sports I begin to worry about an obsession of sports that could consume him, so I just pray that God would be more important to him than any sport any day. God gave Dawson a little talent to use to glorify Him....so I pray that over his sweet little three yr. old heart.

Baking with Mommom
Giuliana asked to spend the day with mommom and bake one of her favorites....chocolate apple sauce cupcakes. They came out great as well as made great memories together. Think they both had lots of fun :) Giuliana doesn't realize how fortunate she is to have so many special grandmoms in her little life....someday she will realize and be so thankful!

Abby is off to college!
We got to say "goodbye" to our Aunt Abby today as she leaves for college tomorrow. We will miss you Abby! May you draw near to God more each day.....allowing Him to change you and mold you.
Legos
So Dawson, our three yr old is really into building with legos these days. He doesn't follow any directions but just comes up with things on his own. Dave is always in amazement at his creations...to the point where he takes pictures :) Dave says he has my creativity since he only built cool things by following a box or directions. We want to help his creativity since he doesn't really seem fond of coloring or painting like Giules. And we don't want to buy any specific lego creations just a bunch of random legos to let him create his own stuff. So today I found a "lot of 300 random legos" on ebay for $15 with free shipping....can't get better than that. I am sure my husband will be taking more pics ....therefore more lego postings ....stay tuned :)

We love you Bekah!
This weekend we got together to celebrate some birthdays and to send off Rebekah to Rwanda for 9 months. It was a beautiful weekend. We went to the shore, volleyball, did birthday stuff & presents, church, games, eating lots of good food, and had lots of fun cousin time for the kids. It was special to all be together. It was great to see Bobby & Christina after their honeymoon....they are so cute! And it was really cool to have time to pray over Rebekah before she leaves. It is hard to spend time with everyone when there are soo many of us in one space, but I think it went well. But we are all very tired to say it lightly. I felt bad for Dave who had to work tonight and mom and kevin and christina who have to work tomorrow....God give them lots of grace. Overall.....reallly goodweekend!!! Now to the cleaning of my home.....that will wait till tomorrow :)

Lots of Veggies!
So we have been enjoying an explosion of veggies....esp our grape tomatoes! We now have our newest to add to the bunch , our peppers. But think our zucchini plant is a "dud" for this year. The plant looks beautiful but I can not see any zucchinis growing. I should probably read up on it.....however if it is too high maintenance then it is out for us :) We can only grow things that are friendly to our family's schedule....meaning we only plant and water after that.....that is all we have time for :) I already know what I want to add to our garden for next year....corn and lettuce.....does anyone know if they are hard to grow? Hopefully not.

My growing boy
So, here is little JD pulling up and trying to "scooch" along. He really only goes backwards but that's ok. He is moving and even getting some rug burn on his little knees.
My other picture is out of pure neglect. I had to get dinner done before Dave left for work and left Jonathan in the jumper sleeping....he seemed comfy :)
