Dawson Starts School

So, my little boy started school yesterday. He is going to preschool for 3 year olds. Mommy was probably the most nervous :) But Dawson did excellent....so much better than I thought. He could not wait to leave the house and get there. When he came home he said his favorite part was playing with the "balls" in the gym. Suprise, suprise. He ate all his lunch, made new friends, and even took a nap. The real test was to see if he wanted to go again today. And he did! Yeah!

This morning when I was praying for him, I prayed that he would know that God was with him all day even when we were not. When I finished, he said, "Mommy, no God with me." So we have to work on that concept a little. I think it's a little to abstract for him :) But I think I pray that more for me anyways at this stage. It reminds my heart to rest as I release him each day.

Now, if I could only make Genevieve understand that she is too young for school and her time will eventually come. She is ready now.....or at least she thinks so :)
